2016  The Sanlih Entertainment TV series La Grande Chaumière Violette, adapted from the novel by Professor Sièh Lǐ Fǎ, was nominated for six major awards, including Best Director and Best Actress at the Asia Television Awards, as well as the Drama Program Award at the Golden Bell Awards.

2017 The television series Far and Away, adapted from the novel by renowned Taiwanese writer Iûnn Tshing-tshiok, won the Best Cinematography Award at the Asian Television Awards and was nominated for four major awards at the Golden Bell Awards, including Best Miniseries.

Taiwan’s first co-produced original series with Netflix, A Taiwanese Tale of Two Cities, premiered and was nominated for six major awards at the Golden Bell Awards, including Best Drama Program, as well as multiple awards at the Asian Television Awards, including Best Actress.

Good Image and HBO Asia announced the joint development and production of the romantic comedy Adventures of the Ring.

The HBO Asia original series Adventure of the Ring officially premiered.
